About VELAPHONE (TEXFON)
VELAPHONE is a resilient underlay installed between the slab and the floor finish to absorb impact energy and reduce floor impact noise (footsteps, dropped objects).
The range includes Vélaphone Confort (ΔLw 19–20 dB, 2.5 mm) and Vélaphone Fibre 22 (ΔLw 22 dB, 3.4 mm) — sold in Spain as Texfon. It is made of non-woven polyester (200 g/m²) on a bitumen / thermoplastic-polymer support, compatible with underfloor heating and certified to QB / NF DTU 52.10.
